I am very sorry that I have been lacking in the postcard department. I am the type of otter that keeps to a schedule and FREAKS OUT if I don’t do what I need to do. It makes me all sort of fainting.
There has been so much going on in life (as well as being sick…which stinks…) that my body has informed me that I need a vacation. Mr. C. Cow has already built me a pillow fort to rule over. Marslean has made me so much soup that I am not sure if I can soup anymore. Bishop kissed my forehead, put his hard hat back on (after giving me a hat tip salute), and went off to do what polar bears do. I am VERY lucky to have loved ones who care about me.
So…on polar bear/cow/pony/maybe doctor orders we will be back with new postcards on (Looks at a calendar she snuck in without anyone noticing she was doing some sort of work thing)…..Tuesday Sept. 26th.
Thank you all for reading….please come back…hahaha. No…seriously…we appreciate all of you that receive our postcards and keep coming back for more of our adventures. Mr. C. Cow told me that I need to start taking care of myself and I am going to follow his orders. He might not be a real doctor (although he does own a doctor costume for Halloween) but he’s right. Health should come first.
Mr. C. Cow and I didn’t go out to a bar or pub or brew-ha-ha for St. Patrick’s Day this year. Yes, we did have a cocktail BUT we drank it in the middle of the woods on a night hike. It beats driving around with all the yahoo’s drinking dyed green beer. Not being anti-social or anti-green beer but I knew it was just going to be a hassle to get a decent drink anywhere.
Mr. C. was all for having a bit of the ol’ spirits on a night hike to celebrate. He kept coming up with cool names to call it.
My personal favorite was “Martini March”. Sounds like I should wear some sort of big hat and carry a baton. (Mr. C. Cow could play the triangle.)
Speaking of hats, Mr. C. decided that, being St. Patrick’s day and all, that he needed to go all out with the green swag. We’re talking green hat, sunglasses, and (the icing on green cake) sparkly green hoofs. How does one green sparkle one’s hoofs? Apparently with a lot of hoof cosmetic glue and enough glitter to start your own craft store. See for yourself:
Being a night hike and all it was difficult to get the best picture of him but I was able to properly capture his holiday cheer. Not only did this photo capture the pure essence of a Mr. C. Cow outfit it has also came in handy to prove that we saw weird “sky squids” floating around. It wasn’t just the hiking cocktails! We would have stopped to ask what they were doing squid-squashing around in the night sky but we couldn’t get close enough.
If we ever run into any “sky squids” again we need to have a chat because squishing around the sky looks AWESOME!
Hope you all had a wonderful and safe St. Patrick’s Day!

Mr. C. Cow drawing (I should say realistic photo!) by yours truly.
I wanted to share with all of you my new website that I just started this past Sunday. It’s called “Lizzy Zilla” and follows the adventures of a GIANT lizard just trying to make it in a “dog eat dog get eaten by a lizard” kinda world. My artwork borders on “drunken toddler with crayons” when it comes to style so I hope it makes you laugh as much as it makes us laugh. (Mr. C. Cow thinks it’s funny as all get out!) Please share with your friends because I would love to share my crazy humor with everyone! (Currently updates with a new comic every Sunday.)
Mr. C. Cow and I wanted to announce a few of really cool things we plan on adding to our postcards in the next few months.

Plus a bunch of wild and crazy things.
I’m really excited to get to all of these new things at some point in time. Our first real life travel photo will be the next postcard we post!
We did get a question the other day! Pieni The Cake Fox (You can check out her blog HERE) asked us:
“What does Mr. C. Cow’s drivers license look like?”
Good question! It, actually, only took him one try on his drivers test to get his license. I am assuming that Mooginia (Where he got his license) is very understanding of the difficulty one might have while driving a vehicle with hoofs. He is very proud of his license photo but wishes he would have smiled at bit more.
As you can see it doesn’t say what his first name is because he likes to keep people guessing. Amazingly enough we’ve only had one person ask us where “Mooginia” is and we’ve had to tell them it borders “West Mooginia” and “North Bovinlina”.
Thank you for the question Pie! We hope that you guys will enjoy a few of the new things we plan on adding and find them to be as amusing as our postcards!
